Arbitration & Mediation
Arbitration, mediation, and conciliation for commercial, technical, family, and cross-border disputes, where the parties choose that path.
Arbitration, mediation, and conciliation are treated as effective modes of settlement between parties. Arbitration has been effective particularly in large commercial disputes relating to building contracts, real estate, and highly technical and intricate disputes. It has also been used for international commercial disputes where one of the affected parties is a foreign entity or person.
With the establishment of the Mediation Centre by the High Court of Madras, mediation received legal sanction from the courts. Personal and family disputes, matrimonial disputes, smaller monetary claims, and similar disputes are described as most effectively resolved by mediation. The firm supports the mediation process and, with the client’s consent, adopts it regularly.
The firm’s materials also describe an Arbitration Centre in a portion of its law chambers, situated in the traditional business hub, with infrastructure for arbitrations and other conciliatory meetings at a nominal cost. Further information is available on request. The published chambers address and email are the contact details confirmed for this website.
